Have you ever made a New Years resolution that you didn't keep? We have too! The trouble with big goals is that they're hard to achieve. See what some of our volunteers have to say about making a few small changes in their lives over the past year. Watch this video on our YouTube Channel or on the Zero Waste 101 page!
How do you celebrate Christmas without a pile of waste at the end of it? We'll show you how! It doesn't have to be challenging, it just takes some planning and creativity. Subscribe to our YouTube channel or sign up for our newsletter to be notified about the release of this video!
Meet us at Ashbridges Bay on Saturday, November 11th for a cleanup with Keisha from In Balance Co. A lifestyle blog focused on good health and environmental sustainability. We'll bring the supplies, we just need some extra hands. You'll find us in the parking lot in front of the Woodbine Bathing Station at 12pm sharp. Dress warm!

We will be setting up a table at the 9th annual EcoFair at the Barns. Come out to meet Nurdle the turtle and learn how litter affects people, the environment, and wildlife (Nurdle will tell you that part).
You will also have the chance to pick up a copy of Nurdle's book "Lessons in Litter" or a zero waste kit from our Zero Waste 101 program.
We were there last year and had a lot of fun! Here's a video made by Carbon Cypher and we're in it!
A Greener Future will be hosting a workshop about micro plastics in Lake Ontario for high school students in the Mississauga area. While this isn't a public event stay tuned for stories on our Instagram and a blog post afterwards.
