Maham Siddiqui Environmental Economist Lake Ontario Climate Change

Maham is inspired by nature and loves spending time outdoors. She developed an interest in sustainable development through some of her travels, witnessing Argan forest cooperatives in Morocco and ethical tourism in the Andes. Maham graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Master of Economic Development, and has a passion for resolving complex urban challenges and developing resilient communities. Her interest in sustainable development grew when she interned at Environment and Climate Change Canada where she mapped populations across Canada most vulnerable to climate change.

Maham believes that the key to our wellbeing and long-term economic stability lies in investing towards environmental protection and enhancement efforts and hopes to reconcile environmental sustainability and economic growth through working with A Greener Future.
