407 ETR Team picking up litter

Team Cleanups

We host litter clean-ups from April to November each year and we are happy to travel anywhere across Southern Ontario to meet with your team. We collaborate with you to choose a date and location that works for you. Our staff will meet your team on-site with all the equipment to facilitate the cleanup.

Our team sorts the litter, this way we can collect data on what is found and also recycle what we can. We end with a photo and a big thank you, and then our staff will prepare an infographic to send to you to show the full team impact. The cleanups are two hours in duration and we can host up to 100 participants.

The fee for this service starts at $650 with all proceeds going directly toward our programing.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility

Being part of the community is important. Taking part in local initiatives helps improve different aspects of society as well as promote a positive brand image for your company. CSR also enhances job satisfaction and overall feelings about an employee’s workplace.

  • Team Building

Bringing your team together through an interactive activity is something that they can feel good about. The opportunity to get outside, work together, and learn something new leaves everyone with a smile on their face and a sense of accomplishment.

  • Environmental Sustainability

We all need to do our part to protect the environment. Participating in our programming is not only helping the local environment by removing litter, your team is also contributing to our data collection which is used to develop solutions and support regulations that will protect the environment into the future.

Team Nurdle Hunts

A Nurdle is a small plastic pellet used in manufacturing new plastic products. Unfortunately, they are often spilled into the environment and cause several problems including the contamination of our drinking water and harming wildlife. They need to be cleaned up.

Our Nurdle Hunts run each fall and are a great educational team-building opportunity. We provide a thorough educational experience as well as equipment to turn your team into expert nurdle hunters. Nurdle Hunts take place along the shores of Lake Ontario in locations that we know are nurdle hotspots.

After the event, our team will provide you with an infographic to show the positive impact your team had. This activity has rave reviews from past participants so available spots fill up fast.
