Please join Owen Sound Waste Watchers as we help A Greener Future collect trash data on Saturday, June 1. We will start at the Frog Pond's Cafe and wander north to NakdBasics, visiting downtown stores along the way to tell them about our group (and perhaps enjoy a snack or two). At the end of the pick-up and when the trash is counted, we will be treated to a tour of NakdBasics' new Refillery Bar. If you haven't been there, you are in for a treat.
We will provide all pick-up supplies, but please bring along a reusable water bottle, dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Please register below.
Starting Point - Frog Pond's Cafe: 209 8th Street East, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 1L2
End Point - NakdBasics: 1035 2nd Avenue East, Owen Sound, Ontario N4k 2h8

Meet us for a shoreline cleanup starting at the parking lot North of the Grey Bruce Health Unit at 1 pm. We have all the supplies and just ask that you dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Please register below.
After the cleanup we’ll be meeting at Frog Pond Cafe (209 8th St E) from 4 pm - 6 pm to host a “Trash Talking Social” along with a local merchant who is working to reduce single-use waste in our community.
Litter Cleanup Registration
Join us for the 4th annual Butt Blitz! A Canada-wide event focused on cigarette butt litter. We have coordinators set up across Canada who would love for volunteers to join them between 11am - 2pm local time to pick up cigarette butts which will be sent to TerraCycle for recycling. This event was created to raise awareness about cigarette butt litter, clean up the environment, and distribute pocket ashtrays to prevent future littering.
We have Coordinators in the following locations:
