Crisper is a Toronto-based weekly meal-kit service offering five new plant-based recipes each week. Its kits include fresh, seasonal ingredients and online recipes, with customizable subscriptions that customers can skip, pause, or cancel.
The company delivers across much of the Greater Toronto Area and collects its reusable meal-kit packaging from customers’ doorsteps.
How it works
Choose from five rotating plant-based recipes and customize your weekly meal-kit plan.
Orders are processed on Fridays and delivered the following Tuesday, except during holiday weeks.
Cook the meals at home using the included ingredients and recipes available online.
Gently rinse the reusable packaging and leave the empty kit out on your next delivery day so Crisper can collect it for reuse.
Why it’s low-waste
Crisper replaces the single-use packaging common in meal kits with a return-and-reuse system. The company says its packaging is 100% reusable and retrieves it from customers’ doorsteps. Recipes are provided online instead of automatically including printed cards, and all meals are plant-based.
