Saponetti

615c Brock Ave, Toronto, ON

Refill shop and delivery service for home and personal care products in reusable jars.

About

Saponetti is a Toronto refill business focused on cleaning and personal care essentials delivered in refundable glass jars. The company has been helping Torontonians cut plastic waste since 2018 and is Toronto’s first soap refill delivery service.

In addition to delivery, Saponetti also offers in-store refill service and pickup at its depot. Customers can bring their own containers for refills or borrow containers with a deposit.

How it works

  1. Check whether you are in Saponetti’s Toronto delivery zone, or visit the depot in person for in-store refill or pickup.

  2. Shop cleaning and personal care products in refundable mason jars, including dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoos, conditioners, hand soap, and body care items.

  3. If you order delivery, Saponetti brings your products in reusable jars and picks up your empty jars on the next delivery. The company says returned jars are cleaned, sanitized, and refilled for recirculation.

  4. If you shop in person, bring your own container or use one of theirs on deposit, and refill what you need at the depot.

Why it’s low-waste

Saponetti is built around the idea that everyday essentials do not need a brand-new plastic bottle every time. Its refill model makes reuse feel seamless: jars are delivered, returned, sanitized, and put back into circulation, while in-store customers can refill the containers they already own. That combination of delivery, pickup, and bring-your-own-container service makes low-waste shopping feel unusually convenient for city life.
