Community Action at Burlington Beach

BurlingtonGreen brings people together to protect local nature and strengthen environmental action across the community. This Butt Blitz is a chance to turn that shared commitment into hands-on impact at Burlington Beach.

A Greener Future is proud to partner with BurlingtonGreen for the September UNSMOKE Butt Blitz. Join us to remove cigarette litter from the beach and surrounding area before it can reach Lake Ontario.

Every cigarette butt collected will count toward our September goal of removing one million butts across Canada and will be sent to TerraCycle for recycling.

All cleanup supplies will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle.
