Help Us Reach One Million

Join A Greener Future for a cigarette butt cleanup at Cherry Beach and help create a cleaner, healthier Toronto.

This September, people across Canada are working together to collect one million cigarette butts. Every butt collected at this event will be counted toward that goal, and kept out of our parks, streets and waterways.

No experience is needed. A Greener Future staff will be on site to welcome volunteers, provide cleanup supplies and share a brief safety orientation. Come on your own or bring friends and family, every helping hand makes a difference.

📍 Meeting Point: Near the flag and sign next to the roundabout and public washroom.

What to Know

• All cleanup supplies will be provided.

• Dress comfortably for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.

• Bring a reusable water bottle.

• High school volunteer hours are available.
