Spike Litter, Serve the Planet – Join Our Sunset Cleanup with Volleyball Canada! 🏐🌊
Join A Greener Future and Volleyball Canada on Sunday, August 17th, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Ashbridges Bay/Woodbine Beach for a special sunset cleanup following the Beach Volleyball National Championships!
As Volleyball Canada wraps up one of its biggest events of the year—featuring athletes from across the country competing for national titles—we’re teaming up to ensure the beach stays as clean and beautiful as when the first ball was served. With large crowds come big impact, and this partnership is all about leaving Toronto’s waterfront better than we found it.
This event is part of our Love Your Lakes program, which has already removed over 1.6 million pieces of litter from the Great Lakes region—and we’re not done yet.

✅ Help restore Ashbridges Bay after a major national sporting event
✅ Support a unique partnership between sport and sustainability
✅ Connect with like-minded volunteers and eco-conscious athletes
