Join us for a Love Your Lakes cleanup at Stanley Park South in Toronto, in collaboration with 1 Hotel Toronto, and help us finish the season strong!
August is the final month of Love Your Lakes 2026, A Greener Future’s community cleanup program along Lake Ontario and connected watersheds. This special event celebrates 1 Hotel Toronto’s five-year anniversary and brings hotel team members and community volunteers together as we work toward our goal of removing 700,000 pieces of litter from parks, shorelines, and communities across the region.
At this event, volunteers will remove litter from Stanley Park and the surrounding area while helping A Greener Future collect important data about what is ending up in the environment. This data helps us better understand litter trends and work toward long-term solutions.
No experience is needed. Our team will provide supplies, a quick orientation, and support throughout the cleanup. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, and bring water.
High school students can earn community service hours.

After the cleanup, participants are invited to the Garden Pavilion at 1 Hotel Toronto for refreshments from 1:00–2:00 p.m.
